Your Network Is Your Net Worth – Global Macro Summit

I’m a Brit, AND an old bond trader, so I don’t normally do “exciting”. But I have to say, I felt strangely exhilarated as we started planning for the upcoming Global Macro Summit. Having ironed out the initial logistics, I got out the metaphorical rolodex, calling up old friends and colleagues to ask them to speak or invite them to join us for the festivities, reaching out to connections both decades in the making and from the latest in-person conference. While a surprisingly enjoyable exercise, it also reminded me of the adage that “your network is your net worth”, and that is why our team has made opportunities for connection a central part of this first-of-its-kind event.

Of course, the breathtaking beauty of the Vail Valley does not hurt. It is one of the most serene and inspiring backdrops for reflection and connection. It is always valuable to chat to some of the most well-informed people on the planet but doing so in Vail means it’s guaranteed to be a wonderful experience. Naturally, we wanted to create a conference structured to balance important macro topics and meaningful engagement of guests and speakers. We’ve assembled thought leaders, subject experts, some outstanding traders, and macro visionaries from around the world to offer diverse perspectives and differing viewpoints. We’ve invited investors from all walks of life, each bringing a wealth of experiences and perspectives to the table. And we’ve created an intimate setting to foster the exchange of ideas and forge meaningful connections. I think it will leave an impression on you, but most of all, it WILL help you make sense of the chaos.

The number of attendees is limited, so you’ll have exclusive access to engage directly with the speakers: industry pioneers, thought leaders, and other attendees in a way that will shape your perspectives on global macro or help fine-tune your investment strategies and outlook. The speakers announced to date include the entire MI2 research team, Pippa Malmgren, Warren Mosler, Rob Dugger, Roger Hirst, Adam Thurgood, Jim Bianco, Mike Taylor, Barry Knapp, Andrew Taylor, and Tavi Costa. You’ll have the opportunity to tap into the knowledge and experience of both the speakers and attendees, giving you tools and connections to help you on your personal and professional journey. It’s one of the toughest macro environments I have ever seen. Anything which helps you navigate it successfully is invaluable.

I truly hope you will take some time this fall to forge key connections, explore new macro ideas, and create an investment “edge” at the Global Macro Summit. I look forward to welcoming you personally.

All the best,

Harry Melandri
